Optical Glass Melting, Molding and Finishing
By having melting furnaces in our factory, we offer you higher quality products produced by our continuous production operations from mixing materials to finished products. We comply with your requests for special process and finish of optical glass components for optical fiber communications, precision optical devices, optical laser devices and so on. OMG complies with your requests to develop such optical components as lenses for the digital audio visual fields, repressed aspherical lenses and others which require high technology.
(Production process)
To ensure controlled quality of the products at OMG, we have strict inspections for various items at every step of the production process. As we employ a continuous production process including materials selections to finished products, our yield rate is very high even with strict inspections of all products at every step which will result possible cost reductions for you.
Melting materials
We develop material compositions and materials of your needs. Develop and produce glass for optical uses as per your requirements.
 
Molding by mold
30-100mmφor squares, height up to 50mm.

Polishing
Aspherical surfaces are also polished.
 
Thermal pressing splicing
30 - 120φmm or squares maximum 250φmm
